The floods have come, and washed away a part of me-
Tearing through the canyons of my being, 
Ripping the flowers from their roots -
My land is barren, but not for long -
LOOK - What miracle is this?
Through shifted sands they come again,
The water tearing away old seeds and replacing them with new,
The seeds have drifted downstream to me - 
I adore this autumn bloom - 
Season Swoon.
 
Inspired by my land after the Hurricane, 
Inspired by the way life rips things away from us only to make way for brand new things.
